The new season has has taken off with a flying start and Ninian is currently out on safari with photographer Nick Brandt.

Nick, now on his third safari with Ninian, has a unique vision of Africa. He considers the photography of wild animals, as distinctly opposed to the genre of Wildlife Photography, as an art form. He feels that "the wild animals of Africa lend themselves to potentially extraordinary photographs,... I would like to yank the subject matter of wildlife into the arena of fine art photography".

A book of his images with a forward by Jane Goodall is being published by Chronicle Books and is due out in the Autumn of 2005. Visit Nicks web site for more information.
